Hyderabad based foodtech startup Troo Good raises Rs. 55 crore in Series A round of funding

The millet based food startup Troo Good announced that it has raised Rs. 55 crore in its series A round of funding led by consumer focused private equity fund, OAKS Asset Management.
The startup intends to utilize the funds for expansion in other states of India. Currently, the startup only caters to the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Commenting about the recent infusion, the CEO and Co-founder of OAKS Asset Management, Mr. Vishal Ooatam stated, “Raju is an exceptional founder who has built Troo Good on the pillars of Taste, Affordability and Nutrition. We are convinced that Troo Good will create an extraordinary pan-India nutritional food brand over the next few years. We are excited about partnering with Troo Good on this journey over the next few years.”

Founded by Raju Bhupati in 2018, Troo Good sells millet-based products including chikki and namkeen. The firm recently added millet-based parathas and chapatis into its product offerings as well. Troo Good markets over 15 million millet snacks every month across the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
