In a Series A round, Your-Space raises $10 million

A personal investment from Mr. Shantanu Rastogi (of General Atlantic) and Ajay Gupta’s (Capital Foods) family office AJAX Capital and Holy Basil Consultancy Private Limited led to a $10 million Series-A round for Your-Space, a student housing startup.

The family offices of Manish Choksi (Vice Chairman of Asian Paints), Sunidhi Group, and Sanjaya Gupta (former MD and CEO of PNBHFL) have all participated.

The funds will be used for growth in metros and tier I cities, according to the Noida-based startup. Your-Space, which was founded by Nidhi Kumra and Shubha Lal, claims to have over 7,000 operational beds in nine cities. By July 2022, the company hopes to have more than 20,000 beds.
