Flipkart Sets November 21 Launch for AI-Powered Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses in India


Flipkart is gearing up to bring the next generation of wearable technology to Indian consumers with the launch of Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses, scheduled for November 21, 2025. This marks Meta’s official Indian debut for its innovative AI glasses, created in collaboration with the iconic eyewear brand Ray-Ban and powered by Meta’s built-in artificial intelligence.

The Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses stand out for their blend of timeless style and advanced technology. Designed for hands-free, on-the-go interaction, these glasses offer a host of intelligent features driven by Meta AI. Users can activate the assistant by simply saying, “Hey Meta,” and perform a range of tasks such as asking questions, setting reminders, making calls, and generating captions—all screen-free. Integration with Instagram and Facebook enables real-time content sharing, streamlining the process of capturing and uploading moments instantly.

Equipped with a 12MP ultra-wide camera for high-quality photos and videos, a five-microphone array, and open-ear spatial audio speakers, the glasses cater to content creators, tech enthusiasts, and everyday users alike. A portable charging case offers up to 36 hours of battery life (including 4 hours of active use per charge), ensuring the glasses are ready for extended daily routines.

The launch is accompanied by a range of classic Ray-Ban styles like Wayfarer and Headliner, with multiple lens options including polarized, sun, and prescription variants to cater to individual preferences and fashion sensibilities.

At the announcement, Flipkart’s Vice President of Electronics, Sujith Agashe, highlighted the company’s commitment to making premium wearable technology accessible: “The launch of Ray-Ban Meta Glasses marks the introduction of a new and exciting category in our consumer electronics portfolio, one that merges technology with everyday utility and personal style.”

With language support that includes Hindi—plus new experiences like interacting with the AI voice of Deepika Padukone—and forthcoming features such as UPI Lite payments for fast, secure low-value transactions, the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses are poised to redefine the wearable tech landscape in India.

The innovative eyewear will be available exclusively on Flipkart, Amazon, and select retail outlets starting November 21, priced from ₹29,900. This launch further cements Flipkart’s status as the go-to destination for cutting-edge technology products in India.
