Gurugram-based B2B fashion supply chain startup Fashinza’s co-founder and former CEO Pawan Gupta has exited the company.
According to Moneycontrol, Gupta has stepped away from the company and is currently exploring opportunities in the artificial intelligence space.
Following his departure, Abhishek Sharma will continue as the sole founder and CEO of the company. Fashinza confirmed the development and said Gupta’s exit was a personal decision and not linked to the company’s business performance.
Founded in 2020 by Gupta and Sharma, Fashinza operates a B2B apparel manufacturing and supply chain platform connecting brands with manufacturers. The startup has raised more than $120 million from investors including WestBridge Capital, Prosus, Accel, Elevation Capital, and Naval Ravikant.
The company has faced operational and business challenges over the past few years. Earlier reports indicated that Fashinza’s gross merchandise value had stagnated amid weaker demand and multiple senior-level exits. The startup also restructured its business model several times during this period.
Fashinza’s revenue declined from Rs 33 crore in FY22 to Rs 6 crore in FY25. However, the company reported a profit of Rs 1 crore in FY25 compared to a loss of Rs 5 crore in FY22. The company had also acquired rival Qckin as part of its efforts to expand operations and improve profitability.
