Ex-Google, Meta execs’ startup Majestic Labs raises $100m series A
- ByStartupStory | November 11, 2025
Majestic Labs, a new AI infrastructure startup founded by former executives from Google and Meta, has raised over $100 million in funding to revolutionize data center memory architecture. The startup’s innovative all-in-one server design delivers 1,000 times the memory capacity of standard enterprise-grade servers, enabling a single unit to replace up to ten racks of current server setups. This radical approach addresses the “memory wall” bottleneck that limits performance and drives up costs in training and running advanced AI models.
The company’s founders—Ofer Shacham, Sha Rabii, and Masumi Reynders—bring extensive experience from their previous work developing silicon products at Meta and Google, holding over 120 patents and having shipped hundreds of millions of units of custom AI-related chips. Their expertise has led to a server system optimized from hardware to software, specifically tailored to handle the largest and most complex AI workloads more efficiently.
Majestic Labs closed its Series A funding round led by Bow Wave Capital, raising $71 million, with participation from investors such as Lux Capital, SBI, Upfront Ventures, Grove Ventures, Hetz Ventures, QP Ventures, Aidenlair Global, and TAL Ventures. Combined with a $10 million seed round in 2024, the company has accumulated over $100 million in total investment.
This funding will accelerate Majestic’s product development, allowing it to build a complete silicon-to-software platform and begin pilot deployments with potential customers. The breakthrough technology promises dramatic improvements in AI computing power, reducing data center footprints, cutting power consumption, and lowering the total cost of ownership, which is critical as major cloud providers ramp up multi-hundred-billion-dollar infrastructure investments.
Majestic Labs’ pioneering architecture targets a critical imbalance in current AI systems where memory capacity lags behind compute capabilities, forcing overprovisioning and inefficiencies. By integrating massive memory capacity with compute power into compact server units, Majestic aims to facilitate faster, cheaper, and more scalable AI workloads, enabling innovations in large language models, graph analytics, and more.
As AI demand skyrockets globally, Majestic Labs is positioning itself as a key player in solving fundamental infrastructure challenges, leveraging deep technical expertise and solid investor backing to reshape the future of AI hardware.
