Voice AI Startup Builds Clinical-Grade Platform For Pharma Engagement In US And Europe
Bengaluru-based AI startup Synthio Labs has raised $5 million (₹44.2 Cr) in a seed funding round led by Elevation Capital, with participation from Peak XV Partners, Y Combinator, 1984 Ventures, and strategic angels from global healthcare and AI sectors. The capital will expand engineering and product teams, scale enterprise deployments in the US and Europe, and deepen partnerships with leading pharma clients.
Voice AI Operating System For Life Sciences
Founded in 2024 by Supreet Deshpande (CEO), Rajashekar Vasantha (CTO), and Sahitya Sridhar, Synthio Labs develops a clinical-grade voice AI platform that automates compliant conversations between pharma companies, clinicians, and patients. Its core products include Jarvis, a voice AI copilot for field teams; Ather, a multimodal engine for omnichannel engagement; and Simulation Studio, which creates high-fidelity digital twins of clinicians and patients for research and strategy.
The platform unifies pharma communications, delivering 24/7 trusted answers while capturing structured data for insights. In one project, Synthio’s voice AI reached over 5,000 eczema patients in 48 hours, demonstrating scalability for large-scale patient outreach. Deshpande emphasized that future healthcare depends on reaching every clinician and patient effectively, with AI infrastructure enabling this at scale.
Fueling Global Expansion And Product Maturity
Funds will prioritize US and Europe go-to-market, hiring top AI talent, and enhancing multimodal capabilities for seamless physician-patient interactions. Elevation Capital’s Krishna Mehra highlighted Synthio as the next major customer engagement infrastructure for life sciences, powering field teams and instant compliant responses.
Synthio enters a booming AI-healthcare intersection, where voice tech disrupts $100 Bn+ pharma engagement spend. With Y Combinator backing and pilots proving human-grade experiences, the startup targets rapid enterprise adoption amid rising demand for compliant, scalable AI in regulated sectors.
