CureSkin, a Bengaluru-based artificial intelligence-driven cosmetics and personal care company, has secured $5 million in a Series A round-headed by JSW Ventures, with Sharrp Ventures, SenseAI, and other current investors participating.
The business intends to use the capital to expand its entire client base, expand into adjacent categories, and make more technological expenditures, according to an official release.
CureSkin, founded in 2017 by two ex-Google workers Guna Kakulapati and Rama Rajanna, as well as dermatologist Charu Sharma, employs artificial intelligence to solve these issues by providing expert-designed tailored regimens via its technology platform. It has serviced people in all of India’s states, even the most distant areas.

Users can snap images and receive free AI analysis for acne, dark spots, pigmentation, wrinkles, and other issues with the app, which is accessible on Google Play. Its method is based on a database of millions of photos that can accurately diagnose skin problems across various skin types.
When the analysis is finished, the app creates a customized therapy that may be paid for through in-app purchases. Free diet and lifestyle advice are included in the plan. The app recommends a dermatologist-designed regimen to maintain healthy skin and hair for users with decent skin.
