Accel leads $8m series A for Indian IoT security startup Spintly

Spintly, a Goa-based IoT and security company, has raised US$8 million in series A funding led by Accel, with participation from Enrission India Capital, SucSEED Ventures, Alumni Ventures, and Chakra Growth Fund.
The company develops wireless, cloud-based access control and smart building solutions, with a patented wireless mesh architecture protected by seven patents.
Spintly’s technology enables secure keyless entry, attendance tracking, and visitor management through a smartphone-centric BLE mesh platform, replacing traditional wired systems.
The funding will support market expansion in India, MEA, and the US, with 60% allocated to growth, 20% to R&D focused on AI-driven smart building features, and 20% to operations.
Founded in 2020, Spintly serves enterprise clients in corporate offices, tech parks, and coworking spaces across India, MEA, and the US, offering hardware and software as a service solutions that integrate with existing systems.
