Mentor Match, an Edtech startup, raised about $1 million in pre-seed funding from a US-based seed-stage venture fund, Sapient Fund led by Karthik Sundaram.
Mentor Match was founded by recent architecture graduates Rohit Raheja, Sachit Dugar, and Rayhaan Shaik. It is a self-study platform that helps students of classes 8 – 12 to connect directly with expert tutors instantly through a 1 on 1 live video call.
Rayhaan Shaik said that True learning happens during self-study for most students and if with a concept or a problem they get stuck, it would lead to frustration, anxiety, procrastination and demotivation.

More than 200 million students have been affected with this problem every year in India. This service has currently been beta tested with over 1500+ students and across all our micro sessions it has achieved a 4.73/5 average rating.
Mentor Match said, currently the services are live on our website and can be accessed all across the country by students preparing for JEE, NEET and school exams for free.
